Since 1967 The Lions Club of Guernsey has been supporting the island in many ways from supporting individuals in need to running large scale fund raising events.

Lions Clubs Internationally exist to:

  • Create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world.
  • Promote the principles of good government and good citizenship.
  • Take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community.
  • Unite the clubs in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship and mutual understanding.
  • Provide a forum for the open discussion of all matters of public interest.

We are members of the world’s largest service club organisation and our ethos of service is:

  • Encourage service-minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward.
  • Encourage efficiency and promote high ethical standards in commerce, industry, professions, public works, and private endeavours.
  • Membership is based on invitation and is open to all who wish to serve.
  • We are a non-political and non-sectarian organization
