Annual Charter Night
Each year, we mark the founding of our club (1967) with this special black-tie celebration. Joined by fellow Lions and friends, we enjoy an elegant dinner, entertainment and the chance to reflect on another year of service. It’s always a memorable evening of fun and camaraderie.
Presidential Drinks
As summer arrives, we gather to welcome the new Club President (who takes office in July). Members and their families are hosted by the president for a drinks and food event with good company and hopefully a bit of sunshine!
Festive Celebrations
After the busy Christmas period – including our famous Winter Wonderland event – we come together with our partners for a much-anticipated Christmas dinner. Though sometimes held in January due to our packed December schedule, the jumpers come out, the turkey is served, and the festive spirit remains strong!
Other Social Adventures
Throughout the year, we organise various outings and gatherings. Past highlights have included:
- Casual evenings at Guernsey’s finest pubs and restaurants.
- Post Swimaraton lunch.
- Excursions to our lovley sister Islands.
At the heart of it all is the simple pleasure of sharing good times with fellow Lions. Whether it’s raising a glass after a successful fundraiser or swapping stories at a social event, these moments of connection are what make being a Lion so special.
